In September of 1982, we heard that Disney World was opening a new park to showcase the world we live in. My grandma was so excited, and even though she had already traveled more than most, visiting Epcot Center became her new life goal. (Photo creds: grandma Ruth Slocum) When deciding to visit Disney parks, there are a few things to keep in mind. I’ve been to both Disney World and Disneyland, and here’s just my take on it.

Whether I’m stepping off a cruise ship or peeling myself away from a beach chair, I love taking time to explore my surroundings. Jamaica has always been one of my favorite destinations—from the laid-back island vibes and warm beaches to the soundtrack of reggae music in the background. (Although, truth be told, they really need to play more Shaggy!)
