It's fall ya'll

Fall Yall

I don’t know if you know this about me, but I love summer — the heat, the sunshine, all the summertime activities. Give me a beach, a pool, or anywhere that screams “summer,” and I’m happy.

But fall… fall has its own kind of magic. 🍁

The colors, the flavors, the cozy activities. School starts, pumpkins get carved, leaves change, there’s that crisp chill in the air — and, bonus, it’s also my birthday season. So yes, fall definitely has a special place in my heart.

Here are a few of my favorite fall destinations to put on your radar:

🍂 Lake Tahoe, Nevada

I’ll be honest — I’m not a big hiker. But I visited Lake Tahoe in the fall, and it was so peaceful. The tall pines, the quiet atmosphere, and that cool, fresh air… it felt like nature’s reset button. I didn’t get to see the lake at its sunniest (it was a little too chilly for me), but even then, the calm beauty was unforgettable.

🎈 Albuquerque, New Mexico

The first week of October is the International Balloon Fiesta — and it’s incredible. Imagine hundreds of colorful hot air balloons lifting off at sunrise, dotting the sky in every direction. Honestly, my dream isn’t to ride one (too high for me!) but to just watch the mass ascension — it’s pure magic. And while you’re there, don’t skip the local food. Try the “Christmas” salsa — a mix of red and green chilies. Trust me, it’s unforgettable.

🚢 New England Cruise

Cruising through the Northeast in the fall is like stepping into a postcard. Bright autumn colors, charming lighthouses, crisp mornings, and afternoons that warm up just in time for lobster rolls. (Pro tip: if you find yourself in Portland, Maine, Luke’s Lobster is the spot for a seafood roll flight. So good.)

🧙 Salem, Massachusetts

If you want a little spooky mixed into your fall, Salem is the place. Known for the infamous witch trials (which, yes, were based on false accusations), the town is full of fascinating history, museums, and quirky charm. Stay downtown so you can easily walk Derby Street, explore the harbor, and pop into cozy coffee shops like Blackcraft Coffee. For lunch, make time for Dyer Wolf Tavern — the vibe is perfect for fall.

✨ The U.S. is full of amazing fall destinations — these are just a few of my favorites. I’d love to know where you like to go when the leaves turn. Head over to my Instagram and share your favorite fall spot with me!
